years before Christmas, in the Zhan'guo period, she was established as the capital of Yan State. Then, after more than 1000 years, in the Jin dynasty, she became the capital of the north part of China. And then, in the Yuan dynasty, she became the capital of the whole country, and this has remained for nearly ten
centuries. So Beijing is also considered to be "The Ancient Capital of Four
Dynasties".
