Baphuon Temple Building photo copyrighted by: Kazuo Lim Khee Boon The temple was built in a rectangular enclosure
measuring 425 meters east-west by 125 meters north-south.
During the 15th Century nature got a helping hand in
the reshaping of Baphuon; it was remade into a Buddhist
temple, and parts of the old Baphuon were demolished so
that the blocks could be used to construct a large reclining Buddha.
