Cambodian National Museum Collections photo copyrighted by: Brian McMorrow There are over 5000 pieces and is the repository of the Kingdom's cultural wealth. In addition, the roof space is home to the largest bat colony in the world living in an artificial structure.
Bat droppings were ruining the exhibits so a second, false ceiling was installed to protect the pieces in the 1930's.
