Dome Cathedral Salzburg photo copyrighted by: Brian McMorrow The dome was damaged during World War II but was restored by 1959.
Once the necessary repairs had been completed, Salzburg Cathedral was consecrated again in
all its former glory in 1959.
left stands the font (1321), borne on 12th C. figures of lions, from the Romanesque
cathedral, and in which Mozart was baptized.
