Pushkin Museum Moscow photo copyrighted by: Brian McMorrow The museum was established in 1912 by the father of the
famous Russian poet Marina Tsvetaeva, who was well
renowned in Moscow as a Professor of Art History at
Moscow State University.
The founder of the Museum and its first Director (1911-1918) was Prof. Ivan Tsvetaev.
