Rustaq Castle Oman photo copyrighted by: Brian McMorrow Rustaq fort, built four centuries prior to the dawn of Islam in Oman, is an imposing
structure built on three levels.
Other interesting features are rooms for living, storage, and defence, Bayadha mosque and
the tomb of the late Imam, Sultan bin Seif. The castle was restored in 1986.
