Barka Fort is a major attraction of the Batinah Coast.
This vast and rambling fort is 800 years old and was originally built for Imam Ahmed bin
Said.
It features an unusual octagonal tower, and at the rear castle are two restored watch
towers which were ones art of the defensive town wall.
