Buddha: While Buddha is a name commonly applied to the prince of the Sakyas- Siddartha, the term Buddha means "The awakened one". This is not a personal name, indeed according to the buddhist tradition, a Buddha has appeared from time to time throughout human history, and will continue to do so. Buddhism is the national religion of Thailand. About 95% of Thai citizens are Buddhists. For them it is a way of life.
