Phuket is the biggest island in Thailand and is located in the Andaman Sea off
southern Thailand. The western coast has several sandy beaches. One of the
most popular tourist areas on Phuket is Patong Beach on the central western
coast with easy access to its long, wide beach. Other popular beaches include Karon Beach, Kata Beach, Kata Noi Beach, Nai Harn Beach and Bang Tao Beach.
