Located where Residenzplatz flows into Domplatz in Salzburg, Salzburg Cathedral is
renowned for its harmonious Baroque architecture and 4,000-pipe organ.
In the first side chapel on the On the high altar is a painted by Arsenio Mascagni;
the frescos in the vaulting, amid rich stucco ornament, are by Mascagni and his pupils.
